The ceiling was leaking under the tiled shower. It wasnt the plumbing. I called a few places but they wanted to install a new shower, instead of repair. I called Mike and he came out to assess the issue. He cautioned us that it may not be a quick fix that I thought. He gave us an estimate for repairing the shower floor and an estimate for a shower remodel. He was hopeful for the floor repair, until he removed the tile floor. The concrete floor was so poorly done. Mike showed me alot of issues with the floor and we agreed it was beyond repair. He started to remove wall tiles but found the tiles did not have full mortar behind them (only drops). At that point, we discussed and agreed upon a full remodel. He still walked me through the process and found more issues (which he resolved). He recommended a tile place and a glass place. Both were great. Mike is very knowledgable in his craft and many other home repair subjects. He was never pushy and always answered my questions. I was amazed at his final work. I would recommend him for any tile work, even if your on the fence about remodeling.

We chose marble for the floor, shower and half the walls and they did a fantastic job, it came out better than we could ever have imagined. High quality work that was fast, reasonably priced and totally professional, what more can you ask for from a contractor these days. Mike Lyons of Lyons Pride Tile and Marble installed floor and wall tile for my 48" x 72" shower renovation. He was easy to work with, thoroughly professional and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right. Found Lyon's Pride Tile and Marble just from searching here on google. Gave Mike (owner) a call and had him come out. After his assessment of my ~200 sqft kitchen with tricky corners and uneven floor, I had him return to lay the tile. He was timely, professional, and amiable. Can't really ask for more from a contractor. Our floor turned out great within the timeframe despite the inherent challenges in an older house. Would happily welcome him back for future projects.
